Primary Hymnplayer 1 continues with composer information, origin of hymn tune names, and emphasis on introductions and endings for hymns. Key signatures are limited to 2 sharps and 2 flats. Meters of 9/8 and 12/8 are added. The triad is broken up into 2 accompaniment patterns to be applied to melody lines. Transposition is extended down a 2nd and up a 3rd. Students end the book by arranging a song using concepts learned. This is book 4 of a 12 book teaching series. See sample page.
